I recount the experience of waiting in line at the Comedy Mothership, where I met some interesting characters (including a Scottish guy who made the wait far more entertaining). Through a stroke of luck and a generous stranger, I even landed VIP tickets, setting the stage for what was to come.

Performing live is always nerve-wracking, but this time it was on a whole new level. After a couple of drinks to take the edge off, I found myself on the Kill Tony stage. Despite my nerves and not feeling like I was at my best, it was an amazing experience. Coming back from Austin, I jumped straight into organizing the Front Range Funny Festival. This was no small feat: 11 shows in two weekends, with tons of comedians to manage. It was absolute chaos, but I’m proud to say we pulled it off, paying every comedian and giving back to the community in the process.

In this episode, I also reflect on the ups and downs of my comedy career. While being on Kill Tony was an exciting milestone, it didn’t lead to instant fame or more gigs.
